Today I attended a seminar on How to Make a Blog held by SDIT Al Hikmah Bekasi, Indonesia, where my kids study. I am interested in joining the seminar because I want to know how to make my own blog. So if I have my own blog, I can learn more about anything I want to know and find out if I can do something I have never done before, like making an article, doing business, and others.
The first presenter is Mr. Aris Heru Utomo, one of the outstanding bloggers in Bekasi. (later I know he is the chairman of “Blogger Bekasi”). From him, I can learn a lot of things, one of which is how to make our article interesting to readers (maybe I should try his ideas–later).
The second presenter is Mas Vavai. He tells me how to start creating a blog using WordPress.com. So after I have my own blog, I am so encouraged to make my “first posting” I learn from him that making a blog is not really difficult. Thanks Mas Vavai for this sharing🙂
There are two more presenters in this seminar, Mr. Rawi Wahyudiono and Mr. Wijayakusumah–or Omjay, for short. Mr. Rawi’s presentation is about entrepreneurship related to internet. He said that if we want to do a business, we have to try it. We won’t know whether the business is successful or not if we don’t try it. We should try any possibility in choosing the type of business and how to market it. After we know the right type of business or the right way to market it, then we can develop this into our business
The last presentation is carried out by Omjay. His presentation is about “Ethics in blogging”. He emphasized that when we’re writing an article in our blog, we should be careful NOT to offend other parties (SARA–ethnic group, religion, race, and interest groups). We should have ethics or else–we can have a problem with other people.
This seminar really gives me a lot of knowledge. Now that I know how to start blogging, and what we can do about it. Now, I Love internet more than ever. Thanks presenters for your presentation, thanks SDIT Al Hikmah and FKKS SDIT Al Hikmah for holding this seminar.
